Longa Law is managed by Lesly Carmen Longa, J.D. Lesly helps clients with matters related to foreclosure defense, real estate, contract law, civil litigation, estate planning and estate administration. Lesly has significant civil litigation experience and graduated from Boston University School of Law, which is consistently ranked among America’s top law schools. She has earned admission into all of the state courts of Florida, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Lesly grew up in Tampa, Florida, and was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began providing legal services in 1999 when she served Fortune 500 companies and international law firms as an Intellectual Property Paralegal. During law school, she clerked with a boutique real estate firm in Boston and a general litigation firm in London. After graduating from law school and passing the Maryland Bar exam, Lesly gained valuable experience as a trial attorney with a civil litigation firm in Washington, D.C. She has also gained experience working on complex litigation for a large international law firm. Lesly has volunteered as a Judge for the annual Southeast Regional Moot Court Tournament at the University of Tampa and delivered presentations on mortgage foreclosure defense. Lesly has also served as a Pro Bono Attorney for the Florida Attorneys Saving Homes Program and has appeared on Channel 13’s “Ask a Lawyer” program. Away from the office, Lesly enjoys flamenco, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
